My old cars in the photo gallery

this is my 1964 Buick Skylark
I drive this car almost daily. It's is lots of fun.
v-6 engine, automatic, 20mpg, it needs a few upgrades here and there but is presentable
I bought it to drive and that's exactly what I'm doing!

I get a thumbs up almost every time I drive it

 2003 Retro-Thunderbird.

Had a 1959 Corvette for 32 years  and one day a fella offered me an unbelievable  amount of money for it. I thought if you don't take this money there would be two fools walking around out there........... I took the money and I guess there is just one. After a few months I took some of the money and bought this 2003 Retro Thunderbird. Its 10 times the car  the Corvette ever was but remember the corvette was a lot older they don't build them as nice as this car is I love it and its very very fun. They only made these 4 years so my advise is buy one and keep it 20 years and you will double or triple your money....... think about it!

1949 Ford Rat-Rod

Rat rod progress1949 Ford pickup

I had a project way on the back burner that was brought to the front earlier this year.

I did some trading, a metal saw/ for some metalwork, The following is a progress report. Starting with a VW Bus That I dismantled down to the frame and mechanics

I used a 1949 front axle to enable me to use my original 1934 Ford wire wheels

As you can tell they have been around a while waiting for this project

This one even had a red inner tube

Here is the mock-up stage, preparing to check proportions, and length

This is what it looked like after cut off and dressed up now it’s ready for adding

The newly fabricated front frame.

Here it is as of Oct 2016 frame installed cab floor cut out and cab lowered, this is first step, after looking at it  I think I will go a couple of inches lower before final assembly but now it is finished and put away for the winter , on the back burner again
